Easter 2009

Getting ready for summer

Summer is just around the corner and my girls can hardly wait. I've been on maternity leave since April, so this is no big transition for me. But for Abby, she is out of school and ready to have a break. I will have all three girls home every day, so finding activities to keep them busy and entertained without breaking the budget will be a challenge. Luckily we can go to a park early in the morning before it gets too hot (at least for a few weeks), we can go swimming everyday, which I know Emma will surely look forward to. If she could live in her swimsuit all year long, she would! Since she found her swimming suit, it has been a constant battle to keep it off of her. She loves swimming. I think I have a future swim team competitor on my hands. :)
Moving on, we will have swimming lessons, we can go to a museum or two for practically nothing with the Culture Pass (available at the Mesa Public Library), and we can go to the mall.
On top of keeping the kids entertained, we will be finding a new place to live, shopping for a larger vehicle, blessing Maddyson, and I will be searching for a new job. Yes, that is correct, I got laid off from MPS, so the search is on.
We will be enjoying our summer break as much as we can before the crazy school life starts back up again. Abby will be in first grade and Emma and Maddyson will be going to daycare.
